
Ingredients:
- Beets 1-2 pieces
- Plums 3-5 pieces
- Lemon juice 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Sour cream 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Mint sprig, nuts, berries for decoration
Cooking method:
Step 1. Boil beets in their skins or bake in foil until soft. Once cooked, the boiled beets should be poured with cold water for 5-7 minutes - this will make it easier to peel. And baked and so easily cleaned. Then grate beets on a coarse grater.
Step 2Plums are better to choose those in which the seeds are easily separated - for example, varieties "Vengerka". Then you can carefully divide them into halves and cut into even slices.
Step 3 Mix pieces of plums with grated beets, sprinkle with lemon juice, sugar and salt, mix. Instead of lemon juice, you can use cranberry juice.
Step 4 Season the salad with sour cream or yogurt without additives and mix.
Step 5 Put the salad with beets and plums on a plate, garnish with a leaf of fresh mint - a bright green color looks very elegant on the cherry velvet of a dessert salad. And for even more attractive dishes, you can decorate it with several berries of raspberries, blackberries, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, serve with plums.
