
Ingredients:
- Butter 200 grams
- Sour cream 200 grams
- Wheat flour 350 grams
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Apples 4 pieces
- Lemon 1 piece
- Sugar 1.5 cups
- Powdered sugar 3 tbsp. spoons
Cooking method:
Step 1. Cook the dough. Sift flour through a sieve, add baking powder to it. It can be replaced with ordinary baking soda. Pour flour with baking powder into a large bowl, add melted butter and sour cream, as well as half a glass of granulated sugar. Knead a tight, elastic dough.
Step 2 Wash apples, peel, remove the core. It is best to choose a sweet and sour apple variety with a pronounced aroma. Grate apples on a coarse grater. Peel and grate the lemon. If bones are found, then they should be removed. Add a glass of sugar, mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3 Lubricate the mold with a small amount of vegetable or butter so that the cake does not stick to it. Divide the dough into two parts so that one part is twice as large as the other. Roll out most of it into a layer, put in a baking tin, forming the sides. Put the filling on top of the dough.
Step 4Roll out the rest of the dough, having previously sprinkled flour on both sides. Then put it on top of grated apples and lemon, gently and thoroughly tuck the edges. Preheat the oven to t 180 degrees, bake the cake for about 40-45 minutes.
Step 5 Sprinkle the finished cake with plenty of icing sugar.
